How I got here
Strategy first. Technology second.
I came to this work through places where the systems mattered because the people mattered.
My first responsibility was never the technology. It was the people. I have worked in nonprofit behavioral health, outpatient care, hospitals, employee assistance programs, and inside companies managing onboarding and offboarding. I also oversaw a department responsible for residential care for hundreds of people.
I had a private practice. I coached. I trained mental health professionals and executives leading teams. Different rooms. Same work. Help people thrive.
I have also spent more than 16 years owning businesses of my own. I understand running a business because I have lived it. When you are the owner, the ideas, the decisions, and the unfinished work all come back to you.
The goal is not more automation for its own sake. It is less burnout. Less drudgery that drains people. More room for people to be creative, develop vision, and do the work they are designed to do.
I came to AI because I saw its potential to support and grow businesses without grinding people down. A good system can carry the routine work. People get their attention back for ideas, relationships, decisions, and work that needs an actual human.
My ethics are not something I added because AI got complicated. They come from years of work where trust, privacy, and good judgment were part of the job. Strong guardrails are not optional. Neither is integrity.
That is the standard I bring here. The system should make the business work better. It should also protect the judgment, trust, and relationships that belong with people.
Built in a real business
Built through implementation, not theory.
Every system I sell, I built and run in my own business first: the lead capture, the booking, the follow-up, the email triage. That is where I learn what actually helps and what looks impressive but creates more work.
Not a demo. Not a theoretical use case.
When a lead comes in on my site, it is answered, saved, and sent to me before I pick up my phone. I built that the same way I build yours, and I fix it when it breaks.
I learned where AI saves time, where it creates noise, and where a human needs to stay fully in the room.
That experience shapes every recommendation I make now. I do not hand people a pile of tools and wish them luck. I build systems with a clear job to do. If it does not make the business or the work better, it does not belong.
What I bring to the work
My background is part of how I make decisions.
Two master's degrees and years of leading teams taught me to pay attention to context. Owning businesses taught me that a system still has to work on an overwhelmed Monday. Both matter.
