What the work actually did.
A system I built and run
The phone was answered. Nobody was told.
The call handler logged every call to a spreadsheet and notified me of exactly nothing. It had been sitting inactive since July.
Every call now ends with an email carrying the summary, the outcome, the transcript and the recording, and a text to my cell so I know to go read it. A filter sits in front of it, because the phone system posts every status change to the same address. Without the filter I would get a text every time a call twitched instead of once when it ended.
Verified on a real call. Three status messages correctly dropped, the end of call report ran the whole path with no errors, and the row landed in the log.
The text step and the logging step cannot take the email down with them. If the spreadsheet is unreachable, the email still goes.
